This hotel is located in a quiet little alleyway right along one of the main streets in District 1. It feels safe to walk back to late at night, as it's in the main 'backpacker' area down a little alley. The rooms were kept very clean, with a window at the back and all requirements in good working order. The breakfast served included real western coffee and had different options to choose from.

I had a really nice stay at this hotel in the backpackers' area of HCMC. The value for money was great, with all the basic amenities provided and everything in good working order. The staff were extremely helpful from the beginning, responding quickly to my emails and even arranging airport pick-up at short notice. The location was perfect, tucked away in a quiet alley of Bui Vien street, yet still close to cafes, street food options, and souvenir shops. The breakfast was included in the rate and offered a variety of choices, including real western coffee.

Very good location , good for night life and meals road behind but very quiet , close to war museum and day market , they give u a map apon arrivell very helpful . Nice funny staff .

I had specifically booked a room with a window, but their reservation info showed a windowless room. They did give me a room on the top floor with windows into a semi-outside corridor and stairwell, which actually was ok (quiet, good ventilation). I would have stayed another night, but they were full. Hotel across street ( Ngoc Linh) happily was nicer & cheaper!

phan lan 2 hotel surpassed my expectations during my recent stay in hcm city. the central location was perfect for exploring the city and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. the rooms were clean and comfortable, and i appreciated the added bonus of a bathtub in my comfort room.
